I think Murphy discovered her tongue this day or something. Hehe. It's from a few weeks ago. I am getting more and more sad as the time to take her to my mother's and leave her there approaches. I'm going to miss this little shit.

I should mention: try not to let the cute SWALLOW YOU WHOLE.

Yes, yes, yes, there is news. On Thursday, April 19th, about 10am, Victoria delivered two kittens.

I went to teach in the morning, running late and planning to just buy lunch. I realized at lunch that I had forgotten my wallet, and immediately had a feeling I was going to go home (to, in theory, retrieve my wallet) and find babies. It was a rather bittersweet little day -- one of the kittens was stillborn. The other is doing just fine with mama, and Victoria is being a perfect (little) mother. I have pictures and video, but my computer has been giving me crap and so it's going to be a suspenseful li'l reveal.

For now, that's all. The thing is cute as all hell -- almost too cute to even be called cute -- and squirmy and blind and mewy and helpless.

Oh, and Josephine is being quite the gracious little aunt. She is not nearly so obnoxious as I envisioned she might be (i.e. bebby = new toy). Quite the opposite -- she is curious -- but looks without touching, sniffs without disturbing, hangs out with me and amuses herself like a supportive little sister should.
