I'm ba-aaaack!

I couldn't eat it, but it was fun to make with What's Going Rotten in the Fridge?TM. Penguin got a talking to about letting food go bad, and then I made her dinner. Whatever, I'm a big pushover.

Berry-Glazed Tofu with Walnuts over Cilantro Rice; Garlic and Pinenut Broiled Asparagus )

The berry glaze is black cherries, blueberries, tomatoes, pineapple, maple syrup, pomegranate molasses, and ginger.

Penguin says it's amazing and is cleaning her plate.

There's leftover sauce and chocolate soy cream in the freezer... there may be another picture later, hehe.

Yes, I am still cleansing.

*sigh*

I should post these before I forget what's in them. I keep buying cookbooks and not using them. I am dumb.

Successfully overcoming my fear of Asian cooking... )

These both look like impressive dishes. They were really easy, though, and really tasty. Try them if you're not scared off by either the Asian market or by my slacker-ass lack of proportions, directions, and memory. That's kind of a lot to be scared of, I realize.
