Josephine and Victoria came home with me almost two weeks ago. I started tinkering with the idea of looking for a kitty a while back, but I told myself I would only spring if I really connected to one.

I was all excited about having space and no responsibility when I moved out here, but I think the novelty's worn off and I am really excited to have some little lives running around. Far as I can tell, they are happy to be the ones running around. I adore them and am so glad that I ended up with both of them -- they have completely different faces and personalities, and I can't imagine living with only one or the other.
Josephine, unfortunately, is sick right now. She looks absolutely pitiful, and I'm sure she feels like shit. They haven't been immunized yet, as Victoria had a bite on her tail (and an accompanying infection and fever) when they were found, so they wanted to wait until she recovered to spay and vaccinate. V was sneezing for a few days, but Josephine has gotten hit with a full-on respiratory thing. I was giving her the weekend to show some improvement, but I think I might call my adoption lady tomorrow and have her hook me up with a vet appointment. Meh.
