I have not posted food pickies in a while... I keep putting them on Flickr and forgetting about them.

Speed porn, yay!

Buffalo Tofu, take eighty-three.
There is nothing more to say about Buffalo Tofu. It is easy, tasty, lowfat, and will make you snot all over. Also known as quintessential.

Waldorfish Salad Sandwich.
There are usually grapes in Waldorf salad; I used raisins... there are no nuts, I added carrots, tofu instead of chicken, Vegenaise, celery... looks like I put garlic in there, too. Okay, so it wasn't as Waldorfian as it could have been, but it was a nice sweet/creamy mix for a sandwich -- like a brie-and-fruit kinda vibe, but with happier cows.

PTA Melt.
Lunch when Mo was here... Italian bread with marinated portabella, tomato, avocado, Vegenaise, and Tofutti. There might have been some onions and apples on here, too, but I can't remember.

Birthday cake!
A revisiting of the best cake ever, slightly reimagined and with less aluminum foil stuck to it. Yay!

Teriyaki Grannies and Tofu.
This was one of those so-easy-I'm-a-little-ashamed recipes, but damn it was good. A large slab of pan-fried tofu and pan-fried (singed!) apples, hot-tossed in teriyaki sauce and served over spinach. This might have taken three minutes.

Raw Key Lime Pie.
I finished my last cleanse and had limes left, so I found some recipes online and made this using what ingredients I had on hand. The crust is primarily nuts and raisins, and the filling is mostly avocados and lime juice. It was really tart but yummy -- better the second day, once the acid had time to work down into the crust and the sweetness of the crust had time to work up. Yin-yang magic and such.

Curried Lentils and Rice.
Really easy. I used this recipe with garlic instead of onions (and vegan subs). Nothing fancy, but it's nummy.

Avocado and Cherry Sushi Bowl.
Brown vinegared rice, wasabi, sweet ginger...simply divine. And easy. And divine, did I mention divine?
